11'6" Inflatable SUP

…And so do I! Feel like the best dad ever and get your kids one of these, they'll entertain themselves for hours leaving you free to drink a beer or two on the beach!

Super practical, fits in the packpack and small enough to ride while on push bike. Highly recommend!

Decided to get myself one of these boards for my birthday. I live nice and close to the water and always see people getting around on sup boards in the early mornings and I get FOMO! I found myself on the Big Duck site reading reviews and feeling comfortable ordering from Big Duck simply because none of the other brands with similar prices had any customer feedback at all. First received my board just a couple days after ordering and quickly pumped it up for her maiden vouyage! All went well and I figured out the inflation process easily, the only issue I had was the longer fin that slides into the centre, it's a very tight fitting part that it slides into and I couldn't lock it in all the way. Thankfully it didn't go anywhere during my paddle and stayed in the same place. I'd recommend this board to anyone, beginners especially as the inflatable aspect is perfect for falling down onto your knees should you need to.

First came acorss these boards after seeing one walk out of the surf with one at my local beach. She had the smaller size and had been catching some super small waves while all the short board surfers were struggling to stand up! I asked her about it and she said that it was actually inflatable and I watched as she released the air valve and rolled it up into the back of her hatch back car. I was super impressed and took a photo of the board to remember the name. I decided on the next size up as I'm no surfer, I'm more than happy at the idea of cruising around the flat water or perhaps at the beach, but behind the breaking waves. I chose the 11 footer and it arrived just a couple days later on my door step and I wasted no time in taking it down to the water. It pumped up easy and reached max pressure with probably 90 seconds of pumping. (the perfect warm up!) First session out on the water was very pleasant, I started on my knees and took my time before standing up. The deck grip surface is very comfortable, even on your knees and the paddle is great being adjustable in length. I thoroughly recommend this board and can't speak highly enough of the awesome staff that I spoke to regarding delivery and payment options. I used Afterpay to get this board which allows me to pay it off in four goes - perfect for my budget! Thanks again!

Plenty of space to move around and get find the right stance on this board. I'm 100kg or there abouts so the 11'6" was an easy choice. It's awesome to ride down to the beach on my bike, pump up the board and go cruising around wherever I want to! Deflation does take a bit of technique, getting all the air out and keeping a nice neat roll is kind of like packing up a sleeping bag when camping. - Sometimes takes a couple ties but once it's packed up in the bag it's compact and easy to transport!
