let me start by saying, this is an awesome kayak! I've travelled long distances, up to 10km in a day and it serves me and my camping gear very well! I've been out in the nicest of conditions and also some pretty unpleasant weather it handles great in both scenarios. The price originally lead me to this product however after reading testimonials and more about the company I felt comfortable making the purchase. Shipping wasn't cheap but it's not exactly a pair of shoes and the part about it come with an express courier is that it arrived the very next day after i ordered! Set up took a cool 10-15 minutes and I was ready to roll. The paddle isn't anything special, just a standard twin-tip kayaking paddle that does the job. The hull material feels durable and stands up against the use I've given it thus far. Overall, very happy, it's my primary mode of transportation for weekend camping and exploring her in southern morten bay.
Ordered one of these with the zip pay and had after just a couple days. All went well except I haven't had a good go of it yet! The kids are always playing in it, fishing and swimming so it's definitely getting good use and I'm getting great value from it. This is the smaller size within the range but it's plenty big enough for two kids ages under 12-13 I'd say.
Got my kayak for my birthday as a present from my parents, it's a fantastic bit of gear! So far I've only been a couple times but it's very stable, comfortable and fits all my picnic gear (chair, umbrella, esky and bag). I do recomenned getting the electric pump, which thankfully I already had from a stand up paddle board as this just makes life easier. I used the manual pump provided to pump up the chambers to their full pressure. All in all, I'm super happy and would recommend this to anyone that's interested in getting out on the water without having to worry about the cost of a boat or jetski and all the extra costs that are included like fuel, insurance and registration.
Bloody awesome thing this is. I live on the water but don't yet have a boat so to get to some nearby hot spots this is a great setup. I like the inflatable aspect because if I want to pack it up and travel inland to lacks or rivers, it will fit in my car easily whereas a plastic kayak would require racks on the roof or a trailer. Only let down for me with this kayak is the floor, I wish it hard enough to stand on. I'm told a dinghy could be worth trading up to for more in depth fishing.
At this price, you'd be mad to get anything else, seriously! I got two of these for the same price as the best option I could find in store for an inflatable kayak.
